'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' News: Devs Further Detail the Party Members Tora and Hana

Hana works as Tora's artificial Blade in the game

All kinds of living beings inhabit the enormous world of Alrest featured in "Xenoblade Chronicles 2." While going through the game, players can expect to run into some unique characters who call Alrest home, and some of them will even join up and help protagonists Rex and Pyra on their journey.

One of these characters who players will be able to meet is Tora.

Developers recently revealed more about Tora via the game's official Twitter account, sharing that he is a technology-loving Nopon who wants to be considered as a Driver. Unfortunately, it does not look like there is a path for him to become one, but he can still be of help to Rex and Pyra thanks in large part to his ingenuity.

Tora built his own Blade that helps him in battle and she is named Hana.

Hana is a little different from the other Blades in "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" as she may be able to execute a few more attacks. Plus, since she is the creation of Tora, she can also communicate using the language of the Nopon.

Interestingly enough, the Xenoblade Wiki hints that Hana's western name may be Poppi α.

Tora and Hana work together a lot in the game, and it seems like the two will excel at drawing attacks from enemies. They can buy some time for their allies during battle, so they figure to be valuable characters to have around more often than not.

Aside from Rex, Pyra, Tora and Hana, developers have also introduced other characters who will be featured in the role-playing game.

Just recently, the Driver Nia and the Blade Dromarch were also revealed. Similar to Tora and Hana, Nia and Dromarch also prefer to work together during battles

More of "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" may be introduced soon, and the game itself will be released for the Nintendo Switch on Dec. 1.
