Xiaomi Mi 4C specs news: mobile certified, specifications leaked

Fans will be able to see more from Xiaomi as it seems like the Chinese electronics company is not yet done with releasing devices this year. The company has already released several new handsets since the beginning of the year and one of it is the Mi 4i. And according to Android Headlines, the company is planning to release a cheaper variant of the Mi 4i which is called the Mi 4c, which has been leaked on AnTuTu Benchmark.

According to Techgadgetsz, Xiaomi Mi 4C was initially thought to be Xiaomi Libra. But AnTuTu Benchmark countered the rumor and revealed the real device that the company was currently working on. Phones Review reported that the Xiaomi Mi 4c has already received certification from TENAA, the Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center, and has been benchmarked as well.

The benchmark implies the new model would be the company's first smartphone to utilize the Snapdragon 808 chip. It will also come with a hexa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHZ, while paired with 418 graphics unit. Other sources revealed specifications like a 5.0-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Adreno 418 GPU and will run on Xiaomi MiUI 7 based on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. It will weigh 130.35 grams and measure 138.1 × 69.6 × 7.8 mm.

Leaked specifications also showed the device sporting a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front shooter. When it comes to its connectivity feature, Mi 4c is expected to feature 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Micro-USB, andBluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi Direct, and GPS with A-GPS.

Those who are interested will be able to choose from the variety of colors available including red, orange, yellow, green, black and white. The price isn't specified but it will most likely be priced in such a way that it will be able to compete with rival budget models that are out in the market.
