The website revealed that the upcoming Xperia Z6 line is likely to follow the footsteps of Apple's iPhone 6 by incorporating metal and glass design in it. The series will reportedly be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 820 64-bit SoC, which comes with four custom cores dubbed as Kryo.
Fans of Experia may also look forward to the upcoming Z6 having a 5.2 or 5.3 inches Triluminos LED Display with 2K Resolution. The upcoming device compact variant, meanwhile, is alleged to come with a 4.8 inches screen display with FHD resolution.
Another speculated feature of the upcoming Z6 series will surely bring delight to those who are fond of taking selfies as the Xperia Z6 might come with an 8MP selfie camera accompanied with an LED flash. Its rear camera, on the other hand, is believed to carry on its predecessor's camera features, although there is a chance for it to come in 25 MP from the Z5's current 23 MP.
While it is true that the fingerprint sensor has already been introduced in the Z5, Xperia Sony said that the Z6 version of the feature will be an improved one, thanks to its Android Marshmallow operating system that will reportedly support it.
Another persistent speculation about the upcoming Z6 is that the device will come with a battery of 3200 mAh and a Type-C USB port that will enable data transfer and charging speedier.
Meanwhile, there are stories going around that the Z6 may be unveiled by Sony on Feb. 22 at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in its scheduled press conference. However, according to Tech Radar, the invite handed out by Sony does not really suggest anything of what will actually happen in the scheduled event.
