However, in his most recent game in which he started he allowed four to the Toronto Blue Jays over just five innings. He was lucky that the Yankees still came through that game with a win. He was not so lucky against the Orioles where he let five runs through five innings, and the Yankees went on to lose.

The Twins will have a more inexperienced pitcher in their ranks today in Vasquez. They are also only 1-3 in the games where Vasquez has taken the mound.
