YouTube Prank Transforms Homeless Shelter Into Fine Restaurant for Surprise Meal (VIDEO)
YouTube prank channel MediocreFilms, along with Break.com, surprised residents of Ascencia Homeless Shelter in Glendale, Calif. with a fine dining experience like they'd never had.
Decorators redesigned a hall in a beautiful green motif with tablecloths, centerpieces and a fountain while chef Jesse Brune and his team prepared a three-course filet mignon meal. As 50 diners settled into their tables, delighted at the surprise, a string ensemble provided the musical entertainment. For several, it was their first time trying the celebrated filet mignon cut of beef.
It's a beautiful "prank" that met people's need for food as well as their desire for respect and kindness.
