Zac Efron News: Actor's Comedy Films 'Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising' and 'Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates' to Be Shown Two Months Apart
Fans of Zac Efron have lots of reasons to look forward to remaining months of this year's second quarter as their favorite actor is set to hit the big screens via his two comedies, "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" and "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates."
Recently, the actor posted a video of him on Instagram garbed in a body-hugging leather dress and a pair of heeled boots as his face is fully made up. As the camera focused on his face, Efron is heard saying, "Sorry, Mom." The video is presumed to be taken at the set of "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising," where he is expected to assist Seth Rogen's character in dealing with a debaucheries of a sorority living next door.
However, Rogen revealed that on the set, Efron is half-naked most of the time.
"It annoys him more than it annoys me," said Rogen in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
"Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" features Efron as Teddy, a former enemy of Rogen and Kelly Radner's respective Mac and Rose Byrne characters. The couple seeks the help of Teddy as they find ways to put an end to the troubles caused by the sorority who live next to them.
The movie also stars Selena Gomez as the sorority queen bee.
"Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" opens on May 20.
Meanwhile, two months after "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising", Efron will be back on the big screen anew with another comedy, "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates." This time, Efron shares the titular role with actor Adam Devine as they play the roles of two irresponsible party-loving brothers who resort to placing an online ad searching for wedding dates as a requisite to their attendance of their sister's Hawaiian wedding.
Apart from Efron and Devine, actresses Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza are also part of the movie as the eventual dates of Mike and Dave who are sure to add more comic flair to the movie.
"Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" arrives in the theaters on July 18.
Apart from his upcoming films scheduled to be released soon, Efron is also busy filming his scenes for his Mat Brody character in the upcoming big film feature of the hit '90s series, "Baywatch," which is slated for a May 2017 release.
