Zachery Tims: Church Releases Video of Paula White Sermon After Pastor's Death
Zachery Tims' church, New Destiny Christian Center (NDCC), has released video of Paula White, pastor of Without Walls International Church, preaching at the Florida megachurch on the first Sunday service since Tims' burial.
The video of the Aug. 21 service was released Sept. 11 on the "ZTims's" YouTube channel linked to on NDCC's Facebook page.
In her sermon White provided an uplifting message to the NDCC congregation just one day after Tim's funeral service.
The Without Walls pastor preached from Psalm 34: 1-3, which reads in the NIV, "I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together."
"God has us," White told the congregation. "Our God is a faithful God."
White reminded the congregation that they were not alone as she, Bishop T.D. Jakes and other ministers were praying and fasting for the church through such a difficult time.
White told the church to focus on the Lord and that "every prophetic word that came out of Pastor Zack's mouth will come to pass."
Those who attended the service posted comments on NDCC's Facebook page reacting to White's message.
"What a POWERFUL word of comfort brought forth by Pastor Paula…Yes Pastor Tims' legacy will live on...Thank you Lord for blessing us this morning with that word," Faith Whinfield said.
"Saints Pastor Paula White shared a quote from Dr. Zach which said something along these lines I did not write it down (sorry) If I die, I don't want to, but IF I die cry for me for 30 days then on the 31st day get back up and press forward...basically keep moving don't stop full fill your destiny and purpose for which HE our God has called you to do!" Yolanda Campbell said.
New Destiny Christian Church, located in Apopka, Fla., will host a special tribute service on Sept. 18 for Tims at the 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. services.
The church, in an announcement published Sept. 7, invited the public to share testimonies and stories on how Tims' ministry changed their lives.
Tims, 42, was found dead Aug. 12 in his room at the W Hotel in New York City's Times Square.
