Zsa Zsa Gabor Turns 95: 'I'm Planning on Celebrating More Birthdays' Says Gabor
Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has made it through another year, celebrating her 95th birthday on Monday, despite a number of health scares.
Zsa Zsa Gabor won Miss Hungarian in 1936 and emigrated to the United States in 1941 where she became a sought after actress. Her first movie role was in "Lovely to Look At" and amongst others, she played the leading role in "Moulin Rouge."
Gabor is possibly best known for her nine husbands. In a 1951 Life magazine, the actress stated, "Men have always liked me and I have always liked men. But I like a mannish man, a man who knows how to talk to and treat a woman -- not just a man with muscles."
Despite a long search however, in 1986 Gabor married Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, who celebrated her 95th birthday alongside her Monday. The actress began to suffer from medical conditions in 2011 after she was infected with a lesion that would eventually lead to the amputation of three-quarters of her right leg.

According to Jam Show Biz, despite the many health struggles that followed, Gabor still intends to throw a birthday bash at her and her husband's home, her publicist has informed. The party will include a performance by rising teen singer Cabel, who has dedicated a personal birthday song to Gabor.
Gabor showed that she still had a sense of humor on her party invitations which read, "Well it's time to come clean and tell the truth, I can't hide it any more, for the first time I'll be celebrating my real birthday candle count," the invitation reads. "Over the years I may have overlooked a year or two (or 20), but not this year."
Gabor also proved her resiliency and zest for life by finishing off her invitation with, "I love you and I hope to see you, but if you can't make it don't worry, I'm planning on celebrating more birthdays over the coming years with my true candle count, going all the way back to Woodrow Wilson's presidency, one of the few White House residents I never met."
Perhaps fans will think twice next time, when expecting the worst for their favorite female star.
