Paul Pelosi's accused attacker David DePape: 4 things to know

2. Blog posts

The website, formerly available at the link godisloving.wordpress.com, is now offline but was first captured by the internet archive Wayback Machine on Oct. 28. The website contains a series of blog posts written in August. Before that time, it had not been updated since June 2007. The homepage of the website identifies the blog as “Big Brothers Censorship Hell” and reads “the reason we have a first amendment is because censorship only applies to you.”

Insisting that “the elites/ruling class never censor themselves,” the blog lamented that “you can still turn on any mainstream news channel to hear day and night the narrative put forth by the people who rule you.” According to the website, “The founding [fathers] built in protection against censorship coming from the government because they never imagined a day when Tech giants and private industry would be so powerful they could single handedly silence the people.”

All of the blogs in the “articles” and “unnecessary censorship” categories were written on Aug. 24, while additional blog posts categorized under “humor” were posted from Aug. 24-25. Blog posts in the “articles” category feature memes warning of censorship, communism, big brother and pedophilia in schools. The “humor” blog posts contain YouTube videos purporting to show censored portions of the animated films “Brave,” “Frozen” and “Zootopia.”

Additional blog posts from Aug. 26-28 were posted in the “uncategorized” category. An Aug. 24 blog post under the “wamen” category declares that “the narrative is to hate men and cater to women because women are more easily manipulated using group think.” All of the blog posts list DePape as the author and none of them appear to have any retractable substantive content besides the memes and videos, which sometimes contained profanity and racial slurs.
