It’s time to think about Pakistan

With more than 241 million people, Pakistan is the world’s fifth most populated country. Less than 2% of that population are Christians. By 2030 Pakistan will become the largest Islamic nation. And yet less than a tenth of 1% of the western church’s resources are directed to places like this. 

Christians make up just a tiny minority in this huge nation, and they need you to stand with them to show their nation the love of God.

Here’s Naina, PAK7’s programming manager, to tell you how we’re holding out the hope of Christ to millions in Pakistan.

Our Game Plan:

First - build up the church

We need to start by strengthening the church. It’s a tough climate for Christians, many are disheartened, and many young adults are Christians by birth but not following Jesus with their hearts. So at PAK7 we’re creating high-quality, engaging television and social media content that builds up the church, challenges young adults and nurtures children.

Second - invest in people

We’re investing in local Christians, discipling and training them, then giving them a voice and a platform from which to tell God’s story to their nation. From bright, engaging kids programs that plant seeds of faith in the very young, to thoughtful, compelling women’s programs that encourage and lift up Christian women.

We believe in the power of story. And our Pakistani TV and social media content creators are experts in telling the story of Jesus through drama, testimonies, comedy, talk shows, game shows, animation and music videos. We believe in the power of this story to change hearts and transform a nation.
