'13 Reasons Why' Cast News: Actor Uriah Shelton Gets Restraining Order

Uriah Shelton, who stars in the Netflix hit series "13 Reasons Why" as a student named Pratters, has reportedly received a restraining order after he allegedly physically harmed a female friend.

According to reports, court documents have revealed that the actor kicked his friend in the stomach when she blocked him from getting into his truck after they had a heated argument. Claiming that the kick was so powerful that it caused "inflamed intestines and bruising to muscles," the woman also stated that Shelton threatened her by mentioning his firearms.

This led to a judge ordering the "13 Reasons Why" star to stay 100 yards away from the victim.

The 20-year-old actor, who is said to be a trained MMA fighter, has yet to make an official statement regarding the matter, but a representative has reached out to E! News telling the news outlet that Shelton would "never harm another person and is currently unavailable for comment."

As for whether or not Shelton would be reprising his role in the sophomore season of the Netflix series, the actor revealed to Just Jared Jr. back in May that he honestly did not have any idea.

He also stated that he originally auditioned for different roles, but ended up playing Pratters.

"I actually auditioned for two different characters, but I didn't really fit them," he told the publication. "I guess the producers liked me though, because I got a call one day asking if I would come up to San Rafael where they were filming to play Pratters," the actor added.

Shelton appeared in two episodes of the series' freshman season, which landed on the popular streaming platform Netflix back in March this year.

Fans are encouraged to wait for more updates to find out if the recent incident would, in any way, affect his involvement in "13 Reasons Why" season 2.

The actor was also previously seen in the Disney Channel sitcom titled "Girl Meets World."
