'2 Broke Girls' season 5 news: Girls broke no more?

As season 5 draws near, fans and watchers alike of "2 Broke Girls" are still digging into any information that could be spilled from outlets, interviews, and the stars themselves in their social media accounts.

While many rumors have come and gone, one such rumor that continues to haunt and bring excitement to fans seems to "never say die."

Several outlets have reported earlier that spoilers suggest a huge and unexpected change in the lives of the two titular characters Max Black, played by Kat Dennings, and Caroline Channing, played by Beth Behrs. The two broke girls are rumored to shed their aprons and waitress suits and come out with Pradas, Guccis, and everything that spells "rich."

The rumor first surfaced when Dennings had an interview on "Late Night With Seth Meyers." When asked what her character would do if she and her co-lead star suddenly get rich, Dennings said, "I think Max would just go insane and buy like 30 cars...and then would have no food, but just like a lot of cars."

Meanwhile, the CBS recently released a video of an official interview with Jonathan Kite, who plays the role of Oleg, wherein the actor commented that his character will enjoy the upcoming installment.

Some fans asked Kite what they should expect of him in the next season and he said Oleg will be very hot. Although he did not dish out other details about what other things would happen to his character in season 5, his statements brought excitement to many of his fans.

Another rumor that recently surfaced is that of his father possibly showing up in the show. Although Kite did not confirm the rumor, he did say when asked who he would like to appear in the show as his dad, he said he would love to have Daniel Day-Lewis first, Meryl Streep next, then there's Brad Garrett.

No official launch date has been given, but season 5 of 2 Broke Girls is expected to premiere this fall on CBS.
