Multiple nominations, underdogs

"Mr. Robot" received six nominations, while "The Americans" got five. It looks like HBO series will continue to dominate the field with 94 nominations. Netflix, on the other hand, got 54 nominations, while FX received 56.

HBO got multiple nominations for "Silicon Valley" and "Veep" for Outstanding Comedy Series. It was rather unusual too, since "The Daily Show" did not receive any nominations. This is the first time that it happened since 2000.
