2019 Honda Insight: The Third Attempt At A Hybrid Vehicle
Recent reports have revealed that Japanese automaker Honda has unveiled their next generation hybrid called the Honda Insight. Set for a release date in 2019, the hybrid features technology and design that have never been seen on its predecessors.
According to reports, Honda is advertising the Insight as an upscale sedan that may be priced and categorized somewhere between the Honda Civic and the Accord. Information on Honda Insight is currently scarce as the auto giant seems to be determined to keep most of the details to themselves until the official unveiling, which is set for January during the Detroit Auto Show. For now, the images of the Honda Insight that was released indicates that the company has chosen to employ a more conservative design compared to the first and second-generation Insight.
Further reports reveal that Henio Arcangeli Jr., the general manager of the Honda Division, has emphasized that the upcoming and highly anticipated Insight has been designed to improve the experience of the passengers inside. As such, fans can expect ample interior space and top of the line performance. Furthermore, Arcangeli shared that compared to the predecessors of the 2019 Honda Insight, the hybrid car will not feature any of the usual tradeoffs that caused the company to lose when pitted against the Toyota Prius.
Information on the capability of its hybrid power has yet to be released. However, the Honda Insight will continue to support gasoline and electric output to propel it forward. Moreover, the fans believe that the design and overall aesthetic of the 2019 Honda Insight seem to indicate that the company has learned from its previous mistakes and has chosen to employ what they know from their experience and the knowledge provided by the widely successful Civic and Accord. No specific release date has been announced as of yet, but the Honda Insight is expected to roll out sometime in 2019.
