666 Stamped W-2 Causes Born-Again Christian to Quit Job
A man from Tennessee quit his job after receiving his W-2 tax form that included the numbers 666, which is considered by some to be the Mark of the Beast or the sign of the Antichrist.
Walter Slonopas, 52, quit his job as a maintenance worker at Contech Casting LLC in Clarksville, Tenn., when he noticed his W-2 was stamped with the number 666 and felt that he had to quit so as not to endorse the devil.
"If you accept that number, you sell your soul to the devil," Slonopas told The Tennessean.

Slonopas was touched by Christ and became a born-again Christian a little over a decade ago and holds the word of God close to his heart.
But the number on the form is keeping Slonopas from filing his taxes, he says, and he will not be able to do so until the company issues him a new form without the number.
Bob LaCourciere, vice president of sales and marketing for the Revstone Corp., which owns Contech Casting, revealed that the company was in the process of issuing him a new form with the corrected number.
He also explained that the number on the form was due to how the company conducts its payroll given that all forms are numbered to correspond to the order in which the forms are sent to employees.
Surprisingly, this is not the first time that Slonopas has had an issue with his employer over the presence of the number at work.
Reports indicated that when Slonopas was first hired back in April 2011 he was assigned the number 666 by the human resource department as his identification when he clocked in. After complaining to management the identification number was changed and the matter was resolved.
But when word of the number fiasco made its way to LaCourciere, he could not believe that it had happened again.
"I am completely at a loss for words," he said.
LaCourciere did add that he hoped Slonopas would reconsider his decision and return to work.
