98 Degrees Reunion is in the Works
The late 90s boy band and pop sensation 98 Degrees is reuniting for a "one night only" performance soon, according to the groups former front man Nick Lachey.
The group's original members including Nick's brother Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre plan to perform for the first time in 10 years at the Summer Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Penn.
Lachey confirmed this to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" Wednesday morning.

He also used Twitter to inform fans about the reunion of the group famous for hit records such as "Because of You," and "The Hardest Thing."
"Big announcement with Ryan Seacrest today. Felt like 2001 all over again! Can't wait for August 18 in Hershey. Be there. #98 degrees." tweeted Lachey earlier on Wednesday.
98 Degrees was formed in 1995 by Jeff Timmons, Jeffre and the Lachey brothers in Los Angeles, Calif.
The group debuted during the beginning stages of the "boy band era" in popular music that also gave rise to N Sync and the Backstreet Boys.
98 Degrees burst onto the music scene in 1997 with their first single "Invisible Man," and would go on to release eight Top 40 singles including "Thank God I Found You" with Mariah Carey, and "Give Me Just One Night."
The group announced a planned hiatus in 2002 and all the members went on to pursue other endeavors.
Nick Lachey remained in the public spotlight due to his marriage with Jessica Simpson and their MTV reality show "Newlyweds." Drew also gained more public recognition after winning the second season of the hit show "Dancing with the Stars."
Nick Lachey went on to divorce Simpson and marry television personality Vanessa Minnillo. He currently hosts the acapella talent search series "The Sing Off" and has released two solo albums during his time away from 98 degrees.
Jeffre ran for mayor of Cincinatti, Ohio and Timmons released a solo album and toured internationally after the band's decision to take a break.
