A 'Rick and Morty' Song Earned a Spot in the Billboard Chart
"Rick and Morty" found its way to the Billboard charts with a song featured in a recent episode of the current season.
The song is titled "Terryfold," which was played twice in the episode "Rest and Ricklaxation" that was aired back in Aug. 27. First was during the time a cleansed Rick and Morty decided to listen to the radio. More of the song was played in the outro.
"Terryfold" debuted in the Billboard Top Rock Songs chart at No. 33. It garnered 1.1 million U.S. streams and sold 1,000 downloads in the week ending Sept. 7, not long after it earned the top spot on the Comedy Digital Song Sales chart.

The "Rick and Morty" song joins in the Billboard chart tracks from serious bands like Fitz and the Tantrums, Royal Blood and even Foo Fighters.
The Billboard-charting song was performed by the indie pop band Chaos Chaos featuring "Rick and Morty" co-creator himself Justin Roiland, who also voices the titular characters of the hit sci-fi comedy.
Chaos Chaos, formerly known as Smoosh, was also featured in the second season of the series. Their song "Do You Feel It?" was played in the background when Rick tried to commit suicide in the episode "Auto Erotic Assimilation" and many fans still cannot forget this moment in the series.
This marks the first time Chaos Chaos and Roiland hit the Billboard charts. Of course, the idea and subject of the band's second featured "Rick and Morty" song is much different from "Do You Feel It?" as it was made for the show and is basically all about, well, terryfolds. The lyrics of the song include:

Prior to this, another animated series "Teen Titans Go" from Cartoon Network, also made it to the Billboard charts with "The Night Begins to Shine" by B.E.R.
