Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo News: Couple Expecting a Baby Girl
Almost two years after tying the knot, Maroon 5 lead vocalist Adam Levine and supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo are looking forward to another milestone in their married life. After announcing last month that they are expecting their first child, the latest unconfirmed piece of news is that the couple will soon be parents to a daughter.
According to E! News, several sources have told them that the couple is expecting a baby girl. Additionally, a source has told the entertainment website that Prinsloo is already nearing the third trimester of her pregnancy and is planning a baby shower for her yet-to-be-born child.
As the couple is now expected to expand their family, they are said to be scouting for a house where they can raise their child in safety. An earlier report has said that the couple's New York 2,800 sq. feet loft is listed for sale at $5.5 million. According to NBC, the couple were spotted house-hunting at the posh Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Los Angeles.

The couple is reportedly excited about their growing family with Prinsloo even telling her friends Lily Aldridge and Taylor Swift that she loves being pregnant and that that Levine has been very helpful and supportive of her pregnancy.
In an interview with the same entertainment news agency in December last year, Levine was asked how many kids he wanted, to which he replied jokingly:
"Like 17. Is that reasonable? ... I love kids so much, though. I love seeing kids on the set, too," he said.
Levine only confirmed the pregnancy of his wife last month via an Instagram post showing Prinsloo clad in red bikini showing her baby bump. The post came with a caption saying, "My two favorite Lakers fans."
Prinsloo was wearing a Lakers cap while in a bikini.
Just a day after reports came out that she is pregnant with a baby girl, Prinsloo posted a selfie of her, presumably taken in a bathroom. In the uploaded Instagram photo, Prinsloo is seen only in her undergarments and a cap, again, patting her belly.
"So far so good. Apparently I've swallowed a bell pepper this week," she captioned her post.
