Adele's Private Photos Reportedly Hacked And Shared On Facebook

Grammy winner Adele is the latest celebrity victim of photo hacking.

According to British newspaper The Sun, private photos of the "Hello" singer and her family were hacked and posted to an Adele fan page on Facebook.

Despite being one of the world's most popular celebrities, Adele has always tried to stay out of the limelight and has been very protective of her family's privacy. In 2014, she won a legal battle against paparazzi over photos they had taken of her 3-year-old son, Angelo.

According to The Sun, the Adele photo leak included very personal images of Adele's pregnancy and even an ultrasound scan. The photos were reportedly circulated via a privately-run Facebook page of the singer's "mega-fans."

The photos may have been obtained through emails of Simon Konecki, Adele's partner.

Following the photo leak, one of the members of the Facebook fan page alerted Adele's management team to the fact that her private photos were being shared online

"I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures," the fan shared. "They are really private and should not be passed around."

According to the newspaper, the fan also said: "I think it is disgusting that her so-called fans were sending them around and I thought it should be stopped. They are way too private, especially the scan and picture of her when she was pregnant."

"If Adele wanted to share these pictures I am sure she would. It would be up to her if she wants intimate pictures like this shown around," the source added.

Adele's unfortunate photo leak is the most recent in a long string of celebrity photo hacks.

In 2012, a hacker was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after he was found guilty of stealing photos of celebrities, including actresses Mila Kunis and Scarlett Johansson and singer/songwriter Christina Aguilera.

In 2014, model Kate Upton, actress Jennifer Lawrence, and singer Rihanna became the victims of a hacker who released several racy photos online.

According to ABC News, it is unclear whether or not Adele is taking legal steps in the photo hacking case.
