Mobile Adobe Lightroom 2.5 App for iOS 10 Specs, News

More specifically, when shooting raw photos, elements like overexposure, underexposure, shadows, tones and many others can be corrected. The Adobe Lightroom 2.5 for iOS can be used to capture raw photos in DNG formats which means that the photos will be of higher quality. Photographers may also be able to edit their work on their phone with this app.

The DNG format was invented by Thomas Knoll. He explained in a blog post that it is now the file format for shooting raw photos on the iOS 10. This includes Android as well since it already has raw support for almost two years.

iPhone, iPad Models That Can Install Mobile Adobe Lightroom 2.5 App
Not all Apple iPhone and iPad models can install the mobile Adobe Lightroom 2.5. The app is only limited to certain models with 12-megapixel cameras, Apple Insider reports. This includes iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus can also install the app, but the Lightroom 2.5 will not have an in-app camera support for these models yet. Adobe is still calibrating the sensors and lenses for the new phones. A new update in the future may bring the support.

Mobile Adobe Lightroom 2.5 App is Free
The Mobile Adobe Lightroom 2.5 App is free for download on the App Store for qualified iOS devices. Mac World reports that Adobe Creative Sync may be installed on devices in order to sync the photos in all devices. A membership is needed to do so, but there is no need to pay $10 per month for a Creative Cloud Photography Plan as users can capture and edit raw DNG photos using the Mobile Adobe Lightroom 2.5 App.
