'Agents of Mayhem' Arrives in August; Nintendo Switch Version Not in Sight

It has been recently announced by the game's publisher, Deep Silver, that "Agents of Mayhem" is arriving on major gaming platforms in August. Unfortunately, there is no plan yet to bring the title to the Nintendo Switch.

In an announcement on Monday, Deep Silver confirmed that "Agents of Mayhem" would be arriving in the United States on Aug. 15 and coming to the European region on Aug. 18.

Meanwhile, in an earlier social media post through Twitter last week, game developers confirmed that "Agents of Mayhem is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC" and added "there are no current plans to release on Switch."

Along with the release date announcement, developers have also unveiled the latest official trailer for the upcoming game where the main characters were previewed. While the game takes place in the open world representation of Seoul, South Korea, the 12 playable characters originate from various parts of the world.

As explained in the abovementioned Deep Silver statement, these agents were described as an "elite band of often unstable misfits, armed with a variety of crazy weapons, work under the watchful eye of Persephone Brimstone, ex-LEGION lieutenant, and her girl Friday, to bring down LEGION and its mysterious leader, the Morningstar."

Players of "Agents of Mayhem" will choose three out of the 12 characters that they can switch up, depending on who is best suited for the goals or missions they want to accomplish. The characters did not just come from various countries around the world, they also had widely different professions before becoming part of the "Agents of Mayhem."

Some of the 12 agents to choose from are a former Colombian sky pirate named Fortune, a former member of the U.S. Navy named Hardtack, an actor named Hollywood, a former immunologist from India named Rama, a former football player named Red Card and more.

These characters also have distinct abilities and weapons they use. Judging from the latest trailer, it can be said that these agents do not fall short on their sense of humor as well.
