'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' News, Update: Watch the First 5 Minutes of Season 3 Premiere
The highly anticipated third season premiere of ABC's hit superhero drama TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is now ready to kick off this week. But before the main event takes place and to further whet the appetite of the fans, the network released the first five-minute footage of the season opener.
Shared over at Entertainment Weekly, the clip introduced a certain man only known as "Joey" who got exposed to the effects of the Terrigen crystals being dumped into the oceans. He displays the ability to melt any metal and with this, he is being chased down by a mysterious team which, like Agent Phil Coulson (Paul Gregg) and his company, is bent on capturing the Inhumans.
Chloe Bennet also debuts as Daisy, sporting her new shorter haircut and new suit as Quake.

Earlier last week, TVLine also published the first set of promotional stills from Season 3's first episode titled "Laws of Nature" featuring old and new faces including that of Luke Mitchell, Constance Zimmer, Andrew Howard, Juan Pablo Raba, as well as the show's mainstays such as Bennet and Gregg.
For those who missed it, the synopsis for the primer revealed that Coulson and Daisy will be leading the charge in searching for the people tainted by the Terrigen and now have superhuman abilities.
It won't take long for S.H.I.E.L.D. to realize that they are not the only group who are after the Inhumans.
Furthermore, fans will also get to see Fitz (Ian De Caestecker) doubling up his efforts to find or rescue Agent Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) after the latter got swallowed into the abyss by the Kree stone back in Season 2.
Henstridge previously said that though her character's appearance would create a big impact to the team, they will soon realize that they must move on from the loss of Simmons and attend to the more pressing matter of capturing the Inhumans.
But Fitz won't be giving up the search. In fact, later spoiler reports say that he will tap on some non-Earth beings for some help.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3 airs Tuesdays, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
