'Agents of SHIELD' Season 2 Spoilers, Rumors: Adrianne Palicki Joins Cast, Mysterious Billboard for New Season Seen in LA
Adrianne Palicki, known for her role as Tyra on "Friday Night Lights," is set to guest star on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 as a spy.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Palicki has been cast in the role of world-class spy Bobbi Morse. Her character will reportedly make an appearance on the fifth episode of the upcoming season. Though Palicki has only been booked for one episode, there is a possibility that she could return further on in the season.
The media outlet says that Morse, who is also known as Mockingbird, may not get on the right foot with Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). The website is also suggesting that Morse's initial appearance may not be as an ally to the now-director of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Though Morse may or may not get along with Agent Coulson, fans of the comic books and the series will undoubtedly be looking forward to see Mockingbird in the show's upcoming season, given that Morse is a highly popular character from the Marvel comics universe in her own right, and has ties to characters like Hawkeye.
Palicki joins Lucy Lawless, Nick Blood, Reed Diamond, Kyle MacLachlan, and Henry Simmons who have all been previously announced as new characters to join the show.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that a new billboard to promote the show's latest season hints at things to come for Agent Coulson. The billboard, which appeared in L.A., depicts the same type of alien equation scrawled on the wall by Coulson in the season 1 finale. It is being suggested that the alien blood that saved Coulson's life could be responsible for his "visions," and there are speculations that season 2 will see some alien activity filtering down to earth.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 will premiere on Sept. 23 on ABC.
