Fans are in for some intense opening salvo as what the details of the Season 3 premiere of ABC's hit superhero drama TV series "Agents of SHIELD" titled "Laws of Nature" indicate.

It was revealed that the S.H.I.E.L.D. will be in a race against time as Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) lead the charge in the search for more powered people that came out following the events of their epic battle with Jiaying and her army of Inhumans.

It won't take long for Coulson and co. to realize that they are not the only group who are looking for these new superhumans.

The details on the synopsis get even more interesting when it mentioned the storyline involving Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and his search for Agent Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge).

Followers may already know that Jemma disappeared into the abyss when the Kree stone swallowed her whole back in Season 2. Henstridge previously said in an interview that her disappearance will prompt the team to work hard in finding her but, given the pressing issues of the Inhumans, they may have to move on from the search and rescue. However, it's still not over for Fitz.

As expected of her knight in shining armor, the agent is said to be prepared to go to "extreme lengths to try to learn how to get her back."

Apparently, it won't matter who gets to be involved in his mission, even if they are out of this world.

Citing the report from Design & Trend, it was discovered that in Episode 2 titled "Purpose in the Machine," Fitz and the team will enlist the help of an Asgardian in finding the answer to the mysteries surrounding the ancient monolith that took Simmons.

Although the ABC summary failed to mention who among Thor's countrymen will help the operatives, the site speculates that it would be Lady Sif who will come to the rescue.

"Agents of SHIELD" Season 3 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
