Agents of Shield Season 1 started well and got even better as it went along, and ended very strongly with some dramatic storylines, and a strong plot that was praised by many critics.
Producers did well in the end for Season 1, as there were obviously huge expectations for the show, and it was tough to get going as the series found it hard to maintain returning viewers amid lukewarm initial critical reviews. However, a strong showing in the final third of the debut season has ensured many are eagerly awaiting Season 2, and they will be hoping for more of what they saw towards the climax.
ABC has confirmed that the show will have its Season 2 premiere date on Tuesday night on September 23, 2014, however, fans should be aware that a new time slot has been agreed for the new season. That means fans will have to look out for the show at 9 p.m. ET from now on.
According to TV Line, the cast line up will be added to when the show returns. The publication has released a spoiler claiming that a "ruggedly handsome, physically fit actor to play a character who can escape any situation, is a bit of a wild card and, though he's mostly interested in personal gain, always ends up doing the right thing."
