'Aho Girl' Episode 12 Spoilers: Will Dog Be Saving the Day Again Anytime Soon?
Dog has proven, yet again, that he is more than just an average pet. What new adventures await Yoshiko's big, white dog on the short-form Japanese anime series, "Aho Girl"?
The titular clueless girl found Dog in the park one afternoon and decided to take him home. Since then, he has been a reliable companion not only for Yoshiko, but for A-kun as well. Although the latter had his doubts at first, he quickly grew fond of the furry creature who shares and understands his passion for a certain Western movie.
But that is not all that Dog can do, after all. In this week's episode, his love for Sayaka's Pomeranian unexpectedly led him to a series of heroic feats that may have been too incredible to believe for Yoshiko and A-kun, but has, nevertheless, caught the viewers' hearts.
Fans took to Reddit to express their thoughts on the previous episode's final skit that was centered on Dog and his noble attempt to bring a flower to his beloved Pomeranian. He never did make it to Sayaka's place — having saved a drowning boy and intercepted a bank robbery among other things — but he sure did bring a smile to a crying girl's heart that day.
Needless to say, Dog will be the talk of the town for quite a while. Even the fans are saying that he just might be the best character in the entire series.
Will there be more such skit in future episodes where Dog saves the day? More importantly, will he ever make it to Sayaka's place the next time he attempts to bring a gift to Pome-chan?
On the other hand, the brief preview for the next episode titled, "Meeting... And! Aho Girl!" shows one of Yoshiko's younger friend with a rather shocked expression on his face, before the scene shifts to the ever-enthusiastic Yoshiko seemingly declaring something.
What could this particular skit be all about and how does it relate to the episode title? Could Yoshiko be going to a meeting at her friend's school? And if so, will she be able to keep her temper in check and not turn into the mad and extremely violent banana-loving fighter that she became in one of this week's skits?
"Aho Girl" airs on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources are available on the series' official site. Episodes are also available for selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
