Air Jordan Release Dates in 2016: First Schedule on Jan. 2
Air Jordan fans are now excited to see what 2016 has in store for them, and the first pair of the trendy sports shoes will arrive this Saturday.
The Air Jordan 4 Retro Alternate 89 will be the first Air Jordan release for the year 2016. It will be out by Jan. 2 and will carry a price tag of $190, according to Footwear News.
The first Air Jordan release will be available in various sizes including the grade school ($140), preschool ($80), and toddler ($60), the report details.
It has a white midsole with gym red accents, and a white outsole, plus a gym red lining. The tongue of the shoe has a black and gym red Jumpman Flight brand, and the heel bears a black Jumpman logo. The other side of the tongue shows the words "Air Jordan" on the tag, the report details.
Meanwhile, a bolder Air Jordan is coming out on Jan. 23 in the form of the Air Jordan 5 Low "China." The release date of this shoe model will coincide with the upcoming Chinese New Year, Sneaker News reports.
The Air Jordan 5 Low "China" will sport a festive design consisting of Beta Blue and Bright Crimson swirls on the heel and tongue. While the model will make a comeback and will feature new designs in 2016, the Chinese themed will be the most eye-catching in the lineup, the report details.
The Air Jordan 1 Low "Shadow" was just released on Dec. 30 for $130, and it will be followed by the Air Jordan "Alternate" on Jan. 2. The shoe, which is available in either white and gym red or black and gym red combinations, can be ordered on Ebay for $190.
On Jan. 9, the Air Jordan 2 "Radio Raheem" will be released at $170. It will be available in black, photo blue, white, atomic orange, and fire pink color variants. The Air Jordan 2 " Alternate" will also be released on the same day, but the price and color variants are still unavailable.
