Airport Offers $12 Flights to New York and Boston
An airport is offering $12 flights to Boston and New York from New Hampshire, in a special deal for the holiday season.
A regional airport in New Hampshire and Cape Air have decided to put out the offer to help passengers as the Christmas holidays come to a close, as well as fulfill their quota of passengers needed to qualify for a federal grant.
The airport needs to fly out at least 10,000 passengers by the end of the year to gain its federal grant, and so has partnered with its only airline, Cape Air, to offer a last minute deal to travelers as the year ends.

Trish Lorino, director of marketing and public relations for Cape Air, has said, "We're basically sold out. That's the highest number of enplanements for Lebanon Airport in quite a long time," according to ABC News.
The promotion was first launched on Christmas Eve and only offers the $12 price for flights out from Lebanon Airport - a small, regional airport in New Hampshire.
If the airport can hit the 10,000 passengers mark for the year then the FAA will give a $ million grant to help fund projects for the small community airport.
Rick Dyment, manager of Lebanon Airport, has said, "The typical projects would be safety, runway and taxiway projects, and equipment purchases. We would be able to improve the city's airport with these funds."
The airport has high hopes that with the promotion it will clear the 10,000 passenger quota before the end of the year.
Lorino has said, "By us [Cape Air] lowering that fare, it was our attempt to support the airport and get them to the 10,000 enplanement level. The timing was ideal because it was a holiday week and people had flexibility and the freedom to travel."
