Alec Baldwin Punches Photographer, Calls Daily News Editor a 'Queen' (PHOTOS)

Alec Baldwin unleashed his inner Hulk on Tuesday morning after he became enraged with a newspaper photographer and punched him in the chin. The actor then went on to attack the Daily News, who first ran the story.

The "30 Rock" actor was apparently retrieving a marriage license from the Marriage License Bureau on Worth Street in New York City, when he was affronted by a handful of photographers. An angry Baldwin then approached Marcus Santos, a photographer of the Daily News, and pushed him before punching him in the chin.

"He was looking mad," Santos told the Daily News. "He said, 'Step back, step back.' I said, 'We're moving back.'"

When Baldwin went for a second photographer, Santos told the actor to back up drawing even further attention to himself.

"I said, 'Don't touch him, I knew he was going to attack me. I stepped back, and he kept coming." the 42-year-old Santos said. "He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me - one time, right in the chin. And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. Then he goes the other way."

Baldwin told a different side of the story via his Twitter account.

"A 'photographer' almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning," Baldwin stated around 10 a.m.

The actor proceeded to state that the Daily News had lied when reporting on the incident and also made harsh comments about the paper's editor.

"Ever since that English Queen took over the Daily News, they lie like the Post," Baldwin wrote an hour after his first post. He later clarified which "Queen" he was referring to.

"Her Highness Colin Myler... Please don't do to the News what you did to NOTW..." Baldwin wrote, referring to the New York Daily News editor-in-chief who was also the former editor of News of the World.

Baldwin then poked at the black hoodie controversy that surrounded the George Zimmerman case, who faces charges for the killing of Trayvon Martin.

"I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over," Baldwin wrote on Twitter just before noon on Tuesday afternoon.

"He was like crazy, you know?" freelancer and eye witness Goran Veljic, told the Daily News. "There was an eruption of mad. ... You're going to get a marriage license, you should be happy. What happened with this guy?"

The attack was caught by other photographers at the Daily News, who were at the scene. View photos HERE
