Alex Rodriguez Gets Mocking Cheers After Being Hit by Pitch (VIDEO)
New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez somehow found his way back to the MLB as he awaits for an appeal of his 211 game suspension for alleged PED use by commissioner Bud Selig and the fans are none too happy about it.
In yesterday's game against the Chicago White Sox, A-Rod was plunked on the elbow by Chicago's Chris Sale in the third inning and received his first cheers of the night after getting viciously booed prior to that.

The controversial star smiled and trotted down to first waving off the dugout to let them know he was fine.
''It was the weirdest thing,'' Rodriguez said. ''Probably the first time in 2,000 at-bats. And walking up to the plate I said, 'Whatever you do, just don't get hit in the elbow.' Second pitch I get hit in the elbow. I couldn't believe it. I love the fans in Chicago.''
Rodriguez is currently appealing his 211-game suspension that would have seen him miss the rest of this season and likely all of the next. The appeal will likely by him enough time to finish this season.
All indications site that there is an astounding amount of evidence against A-Rod, and he is simply avoiding the inevitable.
The 38-year-old played his first game Monday after recovering from hip surgery in the offseason. He spent almost a month in rehab in the minor leagues before rejoining the Yankees, who desperately needed a bat out of the left side of the infield with shortstop Derek Jeter also being out.
Rodriguez previously admitted steroid use from 2001 to 2003 while he was on the Texas Rangers. Since his admission in 2009, he said he has been clean. The Biogenesis revelations suggest otherwise.
