Alicia Keys Concerned About Rihanna's Soul?
Alicia Keys is an admitted fan of fellow singer Rihanna, but may be concerned about the state of the latter's soul.
Keys, the 32-year-old musician, recently spoke about why she loves Rihanna on Evening Standard Magazine.
"[I] love her 'style' and her boldness, and the fact that she is, no pun intended, so unapologetic," Keys told Evening Standard.

However, Keys said she hoped that Rihanna's soul was in a good place since she was in the music industry.
"But also, it's such a tricky, crazy business, and when people are a little bit younger than me, I'm always hoping that their soul is good 'cause it can be such a soulless space," Keys told the magazine. "Who's really loving you and making sure that you're OK?"
The musician acknowledged that people in the entertainment industry might be more concerned about an artist working instead of their well being.
"Because everybody wants to make sure you're OK when they can get something from you, and they're getting a percentage from you. But they don't technically care if you're OK," Keys revealed to Evening Standard. "They just wanna make sure you can stand so you can go to work. So naturally I am always thinking about people and hoping that in this very soulless place they can find completion."
Keys is not the first singer to speak on Rihanna's spirituality. Tiffany Evans, the singer and actress, publicly tweeted that Rihanna's 2009 song Russian Roulette was a sign that she may be in a dark place.
"Russian Roulette= Suicidal Rate (is going to) sky rocket! I really wish I could tell you guys what the industry really is and what stars are apart of destroying this world," Evans tweeted in 2009. "The stars who worship Satan,and those who have killed to get the respect they have now. Some of your favorite people pretend to worship God but they only do that to save face."
Although the song's producer, Chuck Harmony, took to Twitter to confirm that Satan did not influence the music, some still questioned the singer's spiritual beliefs.
Omarion, Evans' former labelmate and one of Rihanna's former friends, spoke to The Boombox about her involvement in the sinister side of the music industry.
"I don't personally know Rihanna's beliefs but I think there's a very dark and very sinister part of the entertainment business and I think it's very visible. I don't know if Rihanna [has fallen victim to those pressures]," Omarion said in the 2009 interview. "I've never really heard her speak about it. I hope that she doesn't believe in that stuff and I don't think that she does, but I don't know."
While the singer's spiritual standing has yet to be determined, she has been known to share inspirational messages from the Bible on Twitter with fans.
