'Alien: Isolation' DLC 'Lost Contact' Release Date Arrives With New Savage Challenge
"Alien: Isolation" DLC "Lost Contact" was launched with the all new Savage Challenge.
There is also a Survivor Challenge wherein players can only have a single life to complete their mission. Once the gamer succeeds in completing the objectives, there will be rewards and points gained that can purchase new items. More points would mean that the player can buy a slave slot but the "final score and position" on the leader boards will be on the lower rank.
The lead character in "Alien: Isolation" is named Axel who got stranded in the isolated area of Sevastool space station. In the long run, the player needs to finish ten levels that are challenging to accomplish. The new map features the Lorenz Private Wards and Emergency Power Plant.
The new DLC pack may increase more players for the game. Video game developer SEGA announced that "Alien: Isolation" sold more than 1.76 million copies of the survival horror game.
The original game is set 15 years after the first "Alien" film and 45 years before the second installment "Alien." Players will take control of Amanda Riley who is the daughter of the lead character Ellen Ripley. Amanda will have to probe into the disappearance of her mother.
The first mission is Closing the Book with characters Taylor, Samuels and Verlaine. The gamer must complete the objective to Explore the Torrens by interacting first with Samuels and Taylor. While crossing the bridge, the player gets a briefing from Verlaine.
As for the second mission, Welcome to Sevastopool, players have to get the door code to pass through the main door. Players need to distract the looters in order for Amanda and Axel to get through.
Third mission is called Encounters wherein the gamers need to disable security lockdown and escape the aliens. Data Cell should be found and Seegson Communications must be entered via a hacked elevator.
There are more missions to go but the three levels are the primary stages the player must go through in "Alien: Isolation." Players can watch this clip to take a few tips on how to navigate the game.
