'Altair: A Record of Battles' Episode 12 Spoilers: Will Series' First Cour End in Conflict?
Kiliç has found a new sultan in Orhan, and a huge battle may soon break out on the Japanese anime series, "Altair: A Record of Battles."
The wedding that was previously planned to incite a possible assassination plot turned into a much bigger concern when all three armies of Mizrak, Balta, and Biçki, went marching towards Kiliç. Upon seeing this and thus realizing that they were greatly outmatched, the current sultan, Selim planned on turning Ayse and the others to Balaban in order to appease Mizrak's sultan.
However, when Selim went so far as to attempt to end Ayse's life, Orhan stepped in and killed his father in defense of the woman he was supposed to marry. Selim left his son with words of encouragement before he died, and Orhan took on the sultanate with far more conviction and confidence than he has previously shown.
What will the Kiliç's fate be under its new sultan, whose first order was for Mahmut's release and for everyone's cooperation with the latter in order to defend the city against the combined forces of Mizrak, Balta, and Biçki?
Fans are excited for the next couple of episodes as these will mark the end of the series' first cour. Can Mahmut's tactical expertise help Kiliç's army defend their city, or will Orhan's newly gained authority be short-lived as the combined forces of three strong armies descend upon Kiliç?
The second cour of the anime series will reportedly begin by the 14th episode and will feature a new ending theme.
The preview for the 12th episode, titled "Battle at the Unusual Rock Formation," teases a battle between two brothers. What unavoidable conclusions will this conflict entail and how will it affect Kiliç's fate?
"Altair: A Record of Battles" airs on Fridays late night at 2:25 a.m. JST on MBS. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available for regions outside Japan via Amazon Prime's Anime Strike service.
