Amanda Bynes Crush on Liam Hemsworth: Actress Making a Move?

Amanda Bynes revealed her latest celebrity crush via Twitter just days after the superstar broke off his engagement with another celebrity. Bynes has announced her crush on Liam Hemsworth right after he broke off an engagement to Miley Cyrus.

"Liam Helmsworth is the most gorgeous man on the face of the earth other than Tanz Watson. FYI!" Bynes wrote, misspelling Hemsworth's last name.

Hemsworth dated Miley Cyrus on-and-off again since 2009, but the couple recently parted for good and called off the engagement. Bynes and Hemsworth appeared together in 2011 while he was on a break from Cyrus cuddling at a Trousdale nightclub.

"Liam Hemsworth was with a bunch of blondes late into the night at Trousdale," posted blogger Haley for OceanUp.com. "My friend and I realized one of the girls was none other than Amanda Bynes! Liam & Amanda were making out on a couch [and] left together."

Neither Bynes nor Hemsworth ever verified those claims, but the two apparently remained friends. Now that Hemsworth is available, many wonder if Bynes will make a move. It could be a bad time for them both, given Bynes' recent erratic behavior and legal issues.

She is due back in court on July 18 to face charges following her arrest last month for possession of marijuana, attempted evidence tampering, and reckless endangerment. Bynes allegedly threw a bong out of her apartment window when officers were searching her apartment; days later she reportedly evicted from the building.

Hemsworth joined the Twitter community one day after Bynes issued her proclamation on the website. Cyrus has not responded to Bynes' statement, though she does have her own Twitter account. Hemsworth is currently not following Bynes or his ex, Cyrus and has only issued two statements through his account.

"Kicking it off on Twitter for the first time. Glad to be on board. Thank you for following… -L," the actor tweeted to his 52,000 followers.
