Amanda Bynes: 'I'm Doing Amazing!'

Actress Amanda Bynes has finally broken her silence after a whirlwind of charges stemming from two charges of hit-and-run, along with drunk driving. Bynes has not been able to stay out of trouble but has so far avoided any jail time.

"I am doing amazing. I am retired as an actor; I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false," Bynes told People magazine.

On Wednesday her lawyer appeared in court only to be told that Bynes would "face strict punishment" if she was involved in another incident. She was ordered to court on Friday, but her lawyer had the judge move up the date in order to avoid a "media circus," according to TMZ.

The young, now retired, actress was recently photographed smoking a substance from a pipe while driving her car when she had been suspended from driving. Her car was later impounded, and Bynes has been seen taking cabs or being driven around town.

Yet there is more concern for Bynes' well-being than she would like to admit. Her parents have moved from Texas to Los Angeles to be closer to their daughter, reports state, and neighbors have been concerned for some time.

"No one knows what is going on with her," a neighbor told E! News. "Her house has become dilapidated. It used to be beautiful, but she's let it go to ruin. That's even getting her into trouble; the homeowners' association is very annoyed at her. It was a beautiful house and now it looks a state."

Bynes will stand trial for her previous accidents on Oct. 29.
