Amanda Knox Murder Case Latest News Update: Italy Judiciary Faces Accusations, Appeal May Lead to Knox Exoneration
The Amanda Knox murder case continues to escalate and the Italian judicial system is being accused of going with a plan to frame Knox and Raffaele Sollecito.
Reports have appeared claiming that the Italian judiciary is pinning the murder of Meredith Kercher on the University of Washington student and ex-boyfriend Sollecito. It is a move that is being endorsed by who the writers of Ground Report called the "Monster of Florence" Giuliano Mignini.
The former prosecutor was recently promoted, keeping him out of the case and the investigation but not out of the appeals courts altogether. However, with him out of the picture, there was now no one who would lead the system on a "witch hunt" for Kercher's murderer and no one to pin it on Knox and Sollecito.

"Mignini wanted his promotion at all costs and was willing to convict and imprison dozes of innocent people to get his way. Amanda and Raffaele are only two of Mignini's more recent victims," the article stated. "There are scores of damaged lives left behind in the wake of Mignini's lust for career advancement."
In support of the allegations, the article by Ground Report also pointed out Mignini's involvement in the Calamendrei case and the "Narducci Trail" case. The former prosecutor pushed conspiracy theories about a satanic sect, leading to questionable convictions.
The writers claimed that should Knox push for an appeal, she could be freed of all charges.
Supporters of Knox and Sollecito stepped up to start a petition with a goal of giving the two a fair trial.
The petition asked for an investigation into "the activities of local law enforcement authorities and consular staff in the aftermath of the death of Meredith Kercher." The petition also asked to start an investigation into the multiple violations of civil rights of the two accused parties and the violations of multiple and international laws.
