Amber Tamblyn and David Cross Married: In Love Despite 20 Year Difference? (PHOTO)

Following a 4-year relationship, Amber Tamblyn and "Arrested Development" co-star David Cross tied the knot over the weekend.

Tamblyn, a former star of "General Hospital" with roles in films that include "The Ring" and "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," had a recent gig for "House M.D." She also appeared in an episode of "Portlandia."

Rumors of Tamblyn's relationship with Cross began in early 2008, but their relationship was not officially announced until 2009. They were engaged during August of last year. Reps for David Cross confirmed the wedding rumors to Us Weekly on Saturday.

Filmmaker and music video director Lance Bangs shared a photo of the couple during the wedding adding the following caption: "Yo La Tengo playing Superchunk, Mission of Burma, and Pixies covers at David and Amber's wedding."

Tamblyn is also a poet with two self published works; she also blogs for the Poetry Foundation. Cross, 48, is nearly 20 years the senior of Tamblyn, 29. The couple has laughed off their age difference in past interviews.

"I was slow to make any moves because of our age difference, and also because she was a fan," Cross said in May on "Running Late With Scott Rogowsky," a live comedy talk show.

A number of users also joked about the strange physical dynamic between the two.

"I know when I win the lottery, I'll be just as handsome as I am now... (which is to say, not all that much)," one user chimed in. "But looking at the picture of this guy with that woman...all I can say is its 'Inspiring' for guys like me to know that with a few bucks and proximity to Hollywood, we can do it too!"

"I must have looked at their picture at least five times and said 'Only in Hollywood could a guy like that get her,'" another user added.
