'American Horror Story: Hotel' Release Date, Spoilers and Plot News: Episode Titles Revealed

With the premiere of "American Horror Story: Hotel" soon approaching, details about the series were released.

It was reported that Ryan Murphy, the executive producer of the series, recently released that opening credits of the upcoming season.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" will take place in Hotel Cortez, with Lady Gaga as the latest addition to the series. The story was reportedly inspired by the incident in a hotel elevator that features some disappearances.

It was reported that Lady Gaga will portray the character of Elizabeth, the wealthy owner of the hotel. She will be joined by other stars such as Wes Bentley, Max Greenfield, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Angela Basset, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Chloe Sevigny, Finn Wittrok, Denis O'Hare, and Cheyenne Jackson.

The recent teaser for the series showed some gore, illustrating bloody walls, with images of the Ten Commandments appearing. With that, it can be evident that religion is another aspect that the film will explore. Moreover, it was reported that the season will introduce serial killers, vampires, and love triangles.

Another sneak peek showed Wes Bentley, who plays detective John Lowell, experiencing some sleeping issues. Meanwhile, Max Greenfield, who plays Gabriel, will be seen under Lowell's bed. The upcoming story will explore the journey of Lowell's investigation.

News about the upcoming episodes were also revealed. The first episode will be titled "Checking In," while the second episode will be called "Chutes and Ladders." The third episode will be titled "Mommy," and the fourth will be titled "Devil's Night."

The season will be interconnecting with the premiere season of the anthology series. The Murder House will be featured, as well as the realtor Marcy, played by Christian Estabrook.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" is expected to air this Oct. 7.
