"American Horror Story" actress Lady Gaga is back to her first love: music. Mother Monster has just recently released her upbeat new single with a title "Perfect Illusion." This new pop song is the lead single of "LG5" her fifth studio album which will soon hit the market. +
"Perfect Illusion" was written and produced by Lady Gaga along with Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker and Blood Pop from "Sorry" by Justin Bieber. The song is a mix of smooth vocals from Gaga, electronic guitar and up-tempo club-ready music. Right after the song was released Thursday night, it has soared to number one in top song lists of 27 countries including the US, UK and Brazil.

"Perfect Illusion" marks Lady Gaga's return to the world of music. It has been almost three years since she released "Artpop" her fourth studio album, in November 2013.
''Artpop" was received with mixed emotions from fans and nonfans. A review from Billboard said that the album was "euphoric" and the singer was able to balance "skyward" designs with her dynamic manner of songwriting. With tracks such as "Dope," "Sex Dreams" and "Do What U Want," the music site said that it will provide a listening experience that is unlike any other.
Break from music writing
Lady Gaga took a break from writing music and concentrated on projects such as "American Horror Story." Also, along with acting in one of the most successful horror TV series in the US, she is also collaborating with artists such as Tony Bennett in 2014 on a jazz album entitled "Cheek to Cheek." Gaga has a Grammy and a Golden Globe Award on her mantle as well as an Oscar nomination for her talents, but now she is back to singing pop.
