'American Horror Story' Season 6 Updates: New Lady Gaga "Perfect Illusion" Video May Have Revealed Next Season's Plot
"American Horror Story" Season 6 will premiere two days from now but fans still expect more teasers and clips from FX.
Fans are counting off the hours for the premiere of Season 6 of "American Horror Story" (AHS), which will air on September 14 on FX. Followers of the horror series are eager to know what the next season's plot is, considering there has been a lot of released promotional material over the past weeks.
Creators of the show said that most of the teasers and clips revealed for "American Horror Story" were misdirects. Fans were left to their own devices wondering what really the plot is for the upcoming season.
And was it really a coincidence that Lady Gaga, one of the main stars of "American Horror Story", has just recently launched her new single "Perfect Illusion"?
Reports say that not only did "Perfect Illusion" re-immortalize Lady Gaga as the top pop songstress, but it also gave away the plot for Season 6.
"Perfect Illusion" as the final piece of the puzzle
In just a few hours of release, "Perfect Illusion" claimed the top spot in song charts in the US, UK, and Brazil. The single is one of the tracks in Lady Gaga's fifth studio album entitled "LG5". It will soon be released on a yet undisclosed date.
The video for "Perfect Illusion" showed a woman or a girl, holding a broken ornate mirror. Also according to reports, this video concludes that children are going to play a huge part in Season 6.
There have been released AHS Season 6 teasers about children. There was the clip with school children in the middle of a corn field and a family with children bearing glowing eyes. And of course, who could forget that creepy baby in a crib with a horrific hand reaching for it.
Creators of the series also sealed the deal when they released a poster on their official Twitter account AmericanHorrorStory @AHSFX.
Something inside the crib was reaching out to a mobile which had the season's logo, "?" and "6". A thick mist was creeping from the outside through an open window. The post was captioned "Hush little baby… #AHS6." This may link to one of the most recent clips, "The Mist", which showed a creature crawling on all fours from the other end of a railroad track.
Another misdirect?
Still, the release of ''Perfect Illusion" and the air date of "American Horror Story" could be purely coincidental. There are fans and viewers who will just wait it out, rather than spend time pondering about what the actual plot really is.
And it will not be a very long wait anymore. It is just two days away from the Season 6 debut. However, there is still plenty of time for another confusing teaser clip from the AHS creators.
