'American Horror Story' Season 7: Cast Adds Another Member as Purported Crossover Details Emerge
"Parks and Recreation" alum Billy Eichner has been named the first new cast member joining season 7 of the hit FX horror anthology series, "American Horror Story."
The details of his role are being kept under wraps, but as per Entertainment Weekly, the character that Eichner will play is described to be closely connected with the character to be portrayed by Sarah Paulson.
Speaking of the actress, she revealed during the PaleyFest event that she would like to play two characters from the previous seasons in "American Horror Story" season 7.
The star hopes that it will be possible for her to revive Billie Dean Howard and Cordelia Foxx, whom she played in "American Horror Story: Murder House" and "American Horror Story: Coven," respectively.
"Ryan comes up with ideas and you're either in it or you ain't. So I hope I am because I have two characters that I played — one in Murder House and one in Coven — and I loved playing them both," Paulson told TV Guide during the convention.
"I spent more time playing Cordelia than I did Billie Dean, but I would love to revisit both of them. And I would love it if they could be in a scene together," she went on to say.
Not only is Paulson pining to slip into the shoes of these unforgettable characters again, she also hopes to bring them together in one scene.
As for "American Horror Story" season 7, Paulson would at least like to see Cordelia back in action. She hopes to see the character "getting powers as the Supreme."
Murphy has said last year that he is indeed doing a crossover of "Murder House" and "Coven," but this is not happening in "American Horror Story" season 7.
"We do know what we're going to do. It's not going to be next season, but we are going to do a season that's a crossover between Murder House and Coven together, which is very bizarre," he said at that time.
As for "American Horror Story" season 7, the focus will be on the recent presidential election, which comes across as quite a horror story to many.
