'American Horror Story' Season 7 Spoilers: Evan Peters Is Charles Manson
The upcoming episode of "American Horror Story" season 7 will see Evan Peters as Charles Manson.
Mason is only one of a handful of cult leaders Peters has and will take on this season. He previously portrayed Andy Warhol in the episode titled "Valerie Solanas Died for Your Sins: Scumbag," which also featured Lena Dunham as the titular radical feminist who tried to kill Warhol.
A teaser trailer for the next episode, titled "Charles (Manson) in Charge," opens with Ally (Sarah Paulson) confronting Winter (Billie Lourd) for the latter's role in her life falling apart. She recounts everything she did, including seducing Ivy (Alison Pill). The trailer shows a series of clips cut and put together. It looks like a gun is going to be pulled, a pill will be given, and Winter will tear up for reasons unknown.
"It's not what you've done. It's what you're about to do," Kai says.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy previously took to Instagram to share a photo of Peters as Manson, a notorious cult leader and mass murderer. For those who are unaware, he is known for being the leader of the Manson family, a group of people who committed many horrid crimes. The Manson Family gained notoriety for murdering actress Sharon Tate, who was pregnant at the time, and four others.
In the previous episode, titled "Drink the Kool-Aid," viewers saw that after having had enough of Kai, the girls opted to leave the Cult, with Ally and Ivy determined to take Oz (Cooper Dodson) and flee. However, Kai was way ahead of them and already got to Oz. He told the little boy that he is actually his real father.
Ally, on the other hand, was also done with Ivy. She poisoned her wife by putting arsenic in her dinner. After that, she headed to the fertility clinic and confirmed that Kai is not really Oz's father. However, in order to protect her son, Ally bribed the receptionist to forge documents that say otherwise, because she knows Kai would not lay a finger on his own son.
"American Horror Story" season 7 airs Tuesdays, at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
