Amy Winehouse's Dad Clarifies Comments on Beyonce 'Back to Black' Cover
Beyonce Knowles and Andre 3000 are releasing a remake of the late Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black," and the deceased singer's father is revealing his true feelings on the matter.
Although only a snippet of the song was released recently, the late Winehouse's father Mitch made headlines for making alleged comments concerning his displeasure with Knowles and Andre 3000's remake. The Winehouse patriarch made headlines for reportedly saying that neither Knowles or her husband Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, who executive produced "The Great Gatsby" soundtrack which the song will appear on, asked permission to use the record.
However, Mr. Winehouse took to Twitter to set the record straight about his thoughts concerning the matter.

"I like Beyonce's cover and have no probs. monies received will help lots of kids," Mr Winehouse tweeted. "She can do another cover if she wants. We need the money!"
The Winehouse patriarch's tweets came shortly after he became the subject of an article claiming that Knowles did not do the song justice.
"I don't think she brings anything to it," Mr. Winehouse said in a Daily Mail report. "I wasn't asked for my permission if they could record it."
However, Winehouse finally agreed to let the "Back to Black" re-recording take place for the right price.
"They have got to pay for the privilege, which is what they are doing," Winehouse reportedly told Daily Mail. "I can't tell you how much it is but it's a lot of money."
The Winehouse patriarch clarified his statements concerning money on Twitter and let it be known that his family helps others with the money they receive.
"Something for you haters," Winehouse tweeted. "We continue to feed the homeless and generally help disadvantaged kids and in 45 schls with Amys resilience [program]."
