Android 7.0 Nougat Rollout for Galaxy S7 Devices Continues, Now Available in More European Countries
Android 7.0 Nougat update also available for many Galaxy S7 devices in the U.S.
Many Samsung Galaxy S7 owners have been patiently waiting to see the Android 7.0 Nougat update made available for their devices. And now, there's some good news for them, as this operating system update has recently been made available to more people.
This time around, device owners in some European countries are the ones benefiting from the wider rollout of the Nougat update.
According to a recent report from Sam Mobile, more Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge owners in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands can now download the OS update.
Folks in the United States who also have either the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge may likewise be able to download the Nougat update now for their smartphones if they have not done so already.
AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have already made this update available, so subscribers who want to get it now can prepare their devices and proceed with the download.
Once owners of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge are able to download the Android 7.0 Nougat, they will gain access to some new features.
Noted in an earlier post from Samsung, the Nougat update will bring the feature known as Performance Mode. Performance Mode provides people with new ways to optimize how their smartphones function, with things such as image quality and battery life affected in different ways.
The Nougat update also brings an improved multi window function for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices. With the revamped multi window feature on hand, device owners will now be able to use up to seven different apps simultaneously.
Download speeds should increase as well with the new OS update applied and notifications will be presented differently too.
More news about when other Samsung Galaxy devices may receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update should be made available soon.
