Android 7.0 Nougat Releases for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge Plus on Sprint

When other carriers may release the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the aforementioned devices still unclear

The Android 7.0 Nougat update has reportedly been released for even more Samsung Galaxy devices, and this time, the update is apparently coming from Sprint.

To be more specific, it appears as though the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 as well as the Galaxy S6 Edge+ are the two devices that are on the receiving end of this latest Nougat rollout, according to a recent report from Sam Mobile.

With Sprint now apparently rolling out the Nougat update for the Note 5 and the S6 Edge+, more device owners on other carriers will likely start to wonder when they may also be able to download this particular operating system update.

The folks over at T-Mobile previously put up a support site that lists different devices and when they may get the Android Nougat update. Among those listed are the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

Notably, both the Note 5 and the S6 Edge+ are still listed to be in the "Manufacturer Development" stage and they will still have to go through the "T-Mobile Testing" phase before the Nougat update can be rolled out for those aforementioned devices.

AT&T and Verizon subscribers are also still waiting for an update with regards to when their Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ units may be upgraded, and at this point, it is still unclear when that may happen.

Once the operating system update is indeed released for those devices, owners can expect to see some notable security upgrades as well as some new features that should make them even more functional.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge owners are also still waiting to hear about when their devices may get the Nougat update too.

More news about the Android 7.0 Nougat update and when it may be released for more Samsung Galaxy devices should be made available soon.
