Clemons joins the titular character, who is portrayed by Rashida Jones, and her partner Detective Jay Geils (Hayes MacArthur). For the uninitiated, the series centers on the pair's crime-solving adventures.

Clemons' credits include Amazon's "The Only Living Boy in New York" and Sony's "Flatliners." She has also recurred on "Transparent, "Extant," "Eye Candy," and "Austin & Ally."

She is set to appear in the upcoming Warner Bros. superhero flick "Justice League," which should hit the big screen next month. She will also co-star with Ezra Miller in a future DC-inspired film, "Flashpoint." But it should not hit theatres anytime soon.

Next year the actress will star in a thriller called "Sweetheart," and an indie feature titled "Beat Loud."

Another high-profile newcomer is Bobby Cannavale. The season 4 renewal announcement came along with the confirmation of Cannavale's joining the cast, which is said to be an attempt to rake in "much-deserved awards attention."

Cannavale's film credits include "Ant-Man" and "Danny's Home." He has also starred in a few TV shows such as "Vinyl," "Boardwalk Empire," "Cold Case," and "Mr. Robot."

"Angie Tribeca" has had a few movie stars appear on the show. Prior to the aforementioned, Chris Pine, James Franco, and Bill Murray have guest starred in the series created by Nancy and Steve Carell.

"Angie Tribeca" season 4 has yet to announce an official return date. But many suspect it to be sometime next year.
