Anne Hathaway Pregnant? Actress Denies Rumors, Takes Home Award

Anne Hathaway arrived on the red carpet at the Golden Globes award ceremony wearing a white Chanel gown that prompted some to speculate that she was pregnant. Rumors however, did not stop the actress from taking home the award.

The 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards was held on Sunday night and Anne Hathaway was a star of the show, for more than one reason. The former "Princess Diaries" star transformed into a mature, award-winning lady in 2013, arriving in a white Channel top and matching skirt.

But when Hathaway first arrived on the red carpet, Giuliana Rancic had the red carpet abuzz with baby talk. Rancic suggested twice that the actress might be pregnant.

"Rumours are that Anne Hathaway may be pregnant," she said early on. "That's the buzz on the street right now, which, if true that may be the ultimate award season good luck charm."

Hathaway was just married this past year to Adam Schulman and has stated that she is interested in starting a family, but not just yet. Reps for the actress confirmed later that she is not currently pregnant.

"She's not pregnant," Hathaway's spokesperson Stephen Huvane told MailOnline.

Thankfully, Hathaway didn't need a baby luck charm this year anyway. The actress won the award for Best Supporting Actress in the Drama category for her role in "Les Miserables."

Lena Dunham also took home the award for Best Actress in her TV comedy "Girls." Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress for the comedy category for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook." Lawrence arrived on the red carpet wearing a soft red Dior gown that was complemented by a metallic silver belt and bell skirt.
