Apple Cyber Monday Deals Offer Free Shipping

Cyber Monday deals are in full swing as Apple introduced free shipping for every customer who buys online from a United States Apple Store from today until Dec. 22.

Canada and the United Kingdom can also take advantage of the free shipping, although they do not receive the luxury of waiting until December to buy as they get free shipping for Cyber Monday only.

The price cut persuades consumers to buy Apple, and buy in bulk, rather than singular items. The purchase of multiple items would yield the most savings, as buyers would not be charged individually for each Apple item’s shipping costs.

The promotion is not a surprise, as Apple traditionally offers to pay for postage every year around the same time to boost Cyber Monday sales.

Apple also started its other seasonal treat for holiday buyers – signature gift-wrap of products.

Other deals from the California technology giant include the Cyber Monday announcement of reduced prices on the MacBook Air for the near future, and possibly until the release of the new 15-inch MacBook Air early next year.

Apple’s latest encouragement for consumers to buy follows their efforts on Black Friday that saw the lower prices for much of its merchandise, including the Mac, MacBook Pro, iPod Touch, and a host of other accessories, both Apple-made and third-party.

Apple was lauded as the big winner this past Black Friday, breaking their all-time sales record by 7 p.m. that evening.

There is no shock by consumers and retailers alike that Apple did so well this year. The Cupertino-based company never offers sales, so Black Friday is customarily a big hit with potential consumers. Add this to the fact that Apple products last relatively long, and a situation is created wherein buyers can afford to wait all year to get their favorite upgrade.

This holiday season, Apple is expected to conquer the consumer electronics market again, with their hugely popular iPad 2 leading the charge.

The market’s dominant tablet and the three smartphones Apple continues to produce will no doubt provide profitable circumstances for the company.
