Apple Unveils Animated Emoji Sticker Packs for iOS 10 Beta Users
The upcoming iOS 10 update is applicable for the iPhone and iPad, and fans are eagerly waiting to try out the newest features. The beta version has been announced and launched at the same day during the WWDC 2016 last month.
Top 5 Features to Expect in the New Apple iOS 10 Update
1. iMessage App
The iMessage was first demonstrated during the Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference last month. Since its launch, there have been many improvements and new features to it. It is capable of ordering food online and paying for it via the Square service feature, Tech Times noted.
Furthermore, the iOS 10 update will bring a slew of upgrades. It will include a voicemail transcription, improved Apple Music, Apple News and Apple Maps, upgraded Quick Type keyboard and the macOS Sierra update.
2. Animated Emoji Stickers
Perhaps one of the most-awaited feature by Apple fans and users in iOS 10 is the animated emoji for the iMessage app. Apple has released four sticker packs on the App Store for the beta testers. The names of the stickers are called Hands, Smileys, Classic Mac and Hearts.
The animated emoji stickers don't look so grand right now, but it is expected that numerous designs will surface once the iOS 10 is officially launched.
Additionally, Tech Radar reported that the iOS 10 will allow bubble effects for their texts to add more expression to the iOS user's texting experience. Users can use "invisible ink," where the recipient will need to slide over the message to reveal it and can use Tapback and more.
3. Siri Made More Powerful
Siri was given a makeover and more powers to assist iOS users in the latest upgrade. According to Mobile Syrup, Siri can now acess third-party apps such as WhatsApp, WeChat or Slack. This means that users can have a hands-free way of communicating with one another. Furthermore, Siri can now also book an Uber or Lyft and other exciting stuff.
4. Google Photos Can Recognize and Search for Objects
The iOS 10 allows users to search for objects, events and places that have been captured in Google Photos. Specific things like an animal, a city or location can be searched, and users can easily search through the results for the photo. According to Apple's website, pre-made movies are also available using videos and photos in the gallery.
5. Lock Screen Update
Apple made the lockscreen more interactive via iOS 10. The smartphone "unlocks" when lifted up with their "Rise to Wake" feature, BGR noted. This means that the "Slide to Unlock" feature that has been staple in Apple devices is now a thing of the past.
