According to the Apple Insider, the model number in the leaked photos is similar to how Apple names their devices. If they are, that would make the iPad Pro 2, 12.9-inch in size and it may be coming this fall.

Apple iPad Pro 2 Release Date

If the rumors about the iPad Pro 2 are real, it would mean the tablet will make it to Apple's annual device launch. PC Advisor notes that Apple has always had the tradition of releasing new iPad tablets and iPhones every year so the possibility of the iPad Pro 2 this 2016 could be real. However, the outlet says that the Apple might not name the tablet as iPad Pro 2 but the new iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro 2 may be expected to be released in September 2016. However, if there is a new tablet besides it, it could be launched by March 2017. Apple is gearing up to release the new iOS 10 operating system this year so the coming of the iPad Pro 2 may be tied then.
